Nez

Nez is a new vision of gin from Japan's leading sake maker Hakutsuru. The alcohol is distilled from fermented rice taken from their sake brew house and aged for 12 years. These origins remain tangible in the distinctive taste. The sake Toji have blended Japanese juniper into this remarkable base together with the peel of three Japanese citrus fruits (Iyokan, Kawachi-bankan and Lemon), two Japanese teas (Kabusecha and Sencha), a Japanese sansho pepper and hops. 

Serving suggestion: "Bring out the bright Japanese citrus notes with a chunky slice of pink grapefruit squeezed and dunked into your gin, favourite tonic and ice. This makes the sake base sing."
