Flavored Fried Chicken Thighs
"Tori no Nanban Zuke"
Ingredients (for four people)
Sweet vinegar ("nanban-zu")
Make holes in the chicken with a fork.
Cut the onion into thin circles and soak the slices in water to soften them.
Prepare the sauce. Mix the vinegar, soy sauce, sugar and broth, and then add the chopped red pepper (after removing the seeds).
Sprinkle the wheat flour on the chicken and fry both sides of the pieces in the salad oil until they change to golden brown.
It is also possible to deep fry the chicken pieces.
Flavor the chicken in the sauce, and when it cools, add the onion slices.
Cut the chicken into easy-to eat pieces, and arrange them on a plate.
